Sacred Rose Healthcare has been providing quality home health care services in Southwest Missouri since 1989. Originally we provided services as Dignity Nursing Services from 1989 to 1994. Our name changed to Tender Loving Care in 1994 when we joined a national agency and expanded our services to include Medicare home health.
When our national office sold we had the opportunity to again become a locally owned and operated agency. In 2002 we became Sacred Rose Healthcare. The core ownership of the agency has remained the same since 1989.
What’s in a name?
When we had the opportunity to return to a locally owned and operated agency we had to once more do a name change. We wanted a name that truly reflects who we are and what our purpose is.
We selected the rose because it symbolized our life. We selected the pink rose because it means appreciation, grace and admiration. The word Sacred means worthy of respect and dedication.
Agency Purpose
We believe that home care services are an essential part of the health care delivery system. By providing continuing care to clients in their own home, home care services can minimize the effects of illness, accident, and disability.
The agency recognizes the worth of all people, including the elderly and those with disabilities. We believe the contributions of these persons are just as important as the contributions of other members of our society. We are dedicated to helping people retain or regain their maximum participation in society.
We recognize that the aging process in an unavoidable part of life. We understand chronic disease or disability may be part of that process. In providing care to our clients, the agency recognizes that clients and their families have certain rights to self-determination. They have the right to participate in planning for their care, to make decisions about their health care, and to maintain their independence as long as possible. Health education is an integral part of Sacred Rose Healthcare’s program.
Therefore, we are committed to the rehabilitation of aged, diseased, or disabled individuals within their home environment; allowing them the maximum contribution, retention of self-respect, and independence.
When the rehabilitation or recovery is not realistic, we commit to providing dying individuals with appropriate care and coordination services, supporting their dignity and self-respect.
